50 Robots to Draw and Paint: Create Fantastic Robot Characters for Comic Books, Computer Games, and Graphic Novels. 0764133101 (ISBN13: 9780764133107). I got this book from the library because I thought I would enjoy drawing robots. It had some helpful information but of the 50 robots, there were really only 1 or 2 that I liked. Most of them were way too complex, too organic, and not robotic enough, in my opinion.

  • Great book for collection. the artist gives you permission to use this for yourself. And takes you from robot to robot by different types giving you examples of why to make what changes. A great learning tool for beginner robot builders. Even if you are not building or drawing robots you may understand what there is to understand better. I had read it in the library but I would rather have it than not have it. It's part of my personal collection now.

  • I really liked this book when I bought it 5 years ago. It had cute and excellent robots to practice drawing for my toy robot business. I am a designer and it was fairly useful to use as a reference to different Ideas. Has big pictures and instructions that are relatively clear. I do not know if it would be good for a very beginner artist but nonetheless it worked for me! I still own this book.

  • I'm actually working on a robot comic that I am hoping to release sometime next year. This has helped me a lot as far as getting the concept of developing robots. When I post them to my Instagram and Facebook, I get a lot of feedback which is great. Very glad I have gotten this book.

  • Biggest pet peeve is when drawing books are produced by people who can't draw. Not the case with this book. I have been a fan of robots and have created two art studios that emphasize that: Broken Robot Studio and Majic Robot Studio

  • As good as the drawings are, there really is not much you can do with it, too much info in a very small place.
I was hoping to see a bit more start to finish, step by step, but there is a lot info that is kind of useless to be practical.
    Sorry.
    Steve.

  • Love this book for the illustrations that it has. A good book for inspiration and it also show you how to draw the robots step by step. I recommend it for those who are looking to draw mechanical parts in their designs.

  • For this book being an used book it arrived in fair condition and I was totally satisfied this the product. The price was unbelieveable so we ordered it expecting it to be really tore up, but it was not I reccommend this product as well as the seller. You will get a quality product.

  • It is filled with beautiful images all of which describe the robots is every detail. The organization of the content is great and it is just an awesome how-to-draw book!
