Catherine Malandrino is a French fashion designer. She was born in Grenoble, France and now splits her time between New York City, Paris and the south of France. After graduating from Esmod Paris, she learned in Parisian Couture houses Louis Féraud and Emanuel Ungaro, Et Vous and then joined Diane Von Furstenberg in New York. In 1998, she created her own fashion house in the city blending French romance and American pulse. In 2001, her Flag collection made Catherine a very popular

boutique and releasing a coffee-table tome.
