by Ros Asquith & illustrated by Sam Williams. A catalogue list of all the different types of babies begins as their diapered forms start tumbling across the pages. There are big babies, and little babies,, do-lots and, do-little babies,, happy babies,, cross babies,, and ‘I’ll show, you who’s boss’ babies. While there are many unique personalities featured here, one characteristic seems common to all babies: their propensity to giggle when tickled. A prompt, invites the reader to test this theory. Let’s try it: ‘Tickly wickly wee!’

  • I really enjoy reading Babies to my 18-month-old. The illustrations show many different types of babies doing all sorts of activities. Our daughter loves to point out all the "bah-bees." The rhyming story is cute and easy to read. The ending takes the cake with the sentimental message to your little one and a mirror on the final page. A great addition to any 9 to 36-month-old's library.

  • Really cute book about babies. Cute illustrations showing the differences in all babies. Great way of teaching diversity...

  • I have read this book countless times, my daughter has loved it since she was about 7 months go, she's 2 now. We know it by heart! I would highly recommend it.

  • This is a great book with lively, fun illustrations and slightly repetitive text. Babies love it!
