Readers will learn how arts organizations and arts management evolved, the theories and processes behind strategic planning and decision-making, and how to integrate various management theories with practical applications to this type of organization. Of course, not all of Byrnes' examples lets copy into other cultural markets, but there are a lot of general basics for arts managers and administrators worldwide. We can really advise to buy this publication.

  • This book basically lets you know everything you need to know about Arts Management. I'm currently taking a course in Arts Managment, not knowing what I'm getting myself into, and I love it! It's a fantastic resource and this book helped me by letting me know that Arts Management is what I want to do.

  • I used this book in an introductory course to arts management. Though it can be very dry, the book is a useful base. However, if you can find the same information with a little more personality, I would take it.
