THE IMAGE OF GOD views man through the lens of the Bible’s historical narrative. THINK ABOUT THESE THINGS Ric Ergenbright has spent his career capturing photographic images of God’s self-disclosure in creation

THE IMAGE OF GOD views man through the lens of the Bible’s historical narrative. Like its best-selling predecessor, The Art of God, it blends a powerful collection of worldwide photographs with the revelation of Scripture to open our eyes and minds to the unchanging character and faithfulness of God. Made in the glorious image of God, man rejected the design of his Creator, and thus became a broken image. THINK ABOUT THESE THINGS Ric Ergenbright has spent his career capturing photographic images of God’s self-disclosure in creation. These images bear witness to the beauty and power of God, inviting us to reflect on the One who spoke our world into existence.

Along with an array of images, the book opens with the creation story itself, with scriptural references that address man's creation, fall and redemption. As an international travel photographer who has worked on assignment for National Geographic, Life, Outdoor Photography, the Audubon Society and others, Ergenbright admitted he once had a "secular view of life.

  • Beautiful coffee table book without being TOO God pushing. You can't help but feel something greater though when you see these beautiful pictures of people from around the world.

  • My daughter saw this book in my doctor's office and told me about it. So glad I ordered it. Very inspirational.

  • Wonderful book. Full if images of people around the world, in their own settings, doing what they do every day. Great candid photos! I will thoroughly enjoy this book, as well as Ric Ergenbright's other book, The Art of God!

  • Great book on condition they said it was. Great seller

  • This is such a delightful read. I would have enjoyed the text thoroughly even without the images, but the two together are gold. The partnership between father and daughter in the project makes it especially sweet. Perhaps my favorite part of the story is Ric's acknowledgment that long before he was aware of it (or even would have approved of it), God was using Ric and his photography for His glory, to be revealed in His perfect time. This is a gem!

"Lift up your eyes to the heavens, and look upon the earth beneath: for the heavens shall vanish away like smoke, and the earth shall wax old like a garment, and they that dwell therein shall die in like manner: but my salvation shall be for ever, and my righteousness shall not be abolished." - Isaiah 51:6

  • When I first looked at this book I sat and wept...I relooked at it for it's biblical truths and found it to be sound. After reviewing other books the author has done this is by far the best. The sweetness he has for his daughter and his image of man(women and children) made me touch the pages in an attempt hold them all close...it is a beautiful and awesome book and testimony!!!!!!!
