An excellent summary of the biblical content on speaking in tongues, from a non-charismatic position. Includes a helpful bibliography.
  • This writer knows what he is saying. This is clear biblical understanding of New Testament Teaching on tongues.

  • Great book, very informative.

  • Though not a large volume (about 175 pages) Unger does a great job of presenting the historical, and especially exegetical view of speaking on tongues. Too often people go to experience to judge their doctrine, rather than doctrine to judge their experience. Unger is a seasoned theologian who rightly divides the Word of truth, to get beyond the haze and confusion about tongues. Highly recommended.
