  • My thoughts on this book are somewhat mixed. There are moments of excellence, challenge, and insight. Depending on where you are in your journey in the Christian faith, this may be either a phenomenal resource to propel you further, or it may be a disappointment.

Positives: Encourages self examination. The simplicity of "repentance and faith" as the core of learning from life's experiences and therefore growing and changing to be more Christlike was wonderful. The "Circle" is not a difficult concept.

Negatives: It often felt like an extended commercial for the "Lifeshapes" material - so much so that at times it felt as thought the author was pointing you more to his material and not to Scripture. "Felt" is the functional word - I do not believe that was the intent. I believe this will be more noticeable if you are not familiar with the "Lifeshapes" material (as I was not).

  • Just what i wanted. thanks.
