  • As a new chaplain reading this all I can say is this is exactly the book I was looking for and I think God for a fellow chaplain/friend of mine who recommended it. I love how the author runs through the data as well as many different scenarios offering information from his years of experience in the pastoral and chaplain ministry, offering examples of how to handle each situation, what to say as well as what not to say and why. I highly recommend this book to anyone who wants to be involved in the chaplain ministry, whether lay or ordained.
