The Bliss Creek Amish series was a fantastic read. It was incredibly hard to put down which is why I finished so quickly.

The Bliss Creek Amish series was a fantastic read. Loss and change come to everyone. It's not so much what happens to us, but how we react to it that makes us who we are. Love's Journey Home shows us the loss and change in the lives of many characters, but the story revolves around Helen and Gabriel.

And that’s not all that’s going on in Bliss Creek this summer. In the middle of a punishing drought, the community is faced with the decision to uproot their families and establish a new settlement. As families struggle to say goodbye, each one must find the faith to follow the Lord’s direction.

  • This was the first book by Kelly Irvin that I've read. I was totally engrossed from the first page. Irvin engages the reader and you feel like you know the characters personally. This was such a refreshing love story with a spiritual twist that doesn't overwhelm. The spiritual tone just undergirds the love story. If you've never read Amish fiction, Kelly Irvin's Bliss Creek series would be a good place to start.

  • A very warm, loving story from start to finished with many trials. Showing the joys and sorrows of life with God in the center. Victory and defeat taken with a lesson of life mixed in. A very good read!

  • Wonderful conclusion to the Bliss Creek series. One of my favorite parts was that there was love in the air for 2 different couples from 2 different generations. I also enjoyed how the characters live their lives during the good times and the trials. Mrs. Irvin is so descriptive with her stories it's easy to picture the scenes in your mind's eye. I'm looking forward to reading more by this author.

  • Kelly Irwin's Bliss Creek novels are outstanding. It's hard to pick a favorite since they are so closely linked. However, Love's Journey Home would be at the top simply because it offers closure. Real-life struggles, imperfect people, triumphal faith, and tender romance abound. Although not true of all series, I recommend reading them in order. I'm looking forward to the New Hope Amish series.

  • I've enjoyed all three books in this series. Looking forward to reading the continuation series that follows. I love Kelly Irvin.

  • You will love this series!

  • Do you believe you'd ever get a second chance at love after your spouse passed away.
Two couples Helen and Gabriel did, after not liking each other at first and also bring children into a household.
There was shunning, forgiveness and peace as this story is told.
I enjoyed reading this book. It's a must read, can't put down book.

  • Great series. Thank you for the good stories. Love them
