Set in picturesque Daviess County, Indiana, this fictional Amish account is written as a fast-paced, entertaining story. The beautiful Sarah Schwartz knows she is on thin ice when she notices Lamar Wagler wathching her on Sundays and finds herself responding to his attention. Lamar is dating Malinda and is, as everyone assumes, soon to be married to her. Add to this, Malinda's family is close to Esther who... • This book is okay, but it is not quite as good as the other ones I have read by this author. A major problem I had in reading it was that words contains "txt" or "ft" we're missing these letters in the downloaded book. Also, all digits (numerals) were missing, so it was much like figuring out a puzzle as I read. The sequel, Sarah's Son, also has the same problem with the missing letters and numbers.

  • I haven't had the time to read book yet. BUT Jerry is an excellent author & I know the story takes place in INdiana.

  • surprised by such a difference in a male writer and a female one on amish discription of this beautiful awesome amish girl. just breath taking and almost over done with all the discription of her. otherwise a good story, that was the only thing that sort of went against the grain

  • This book begins the interesting story of Sarah. It is well written by Jerry Eicher. Good clean Christian writing. Thanks.

  • great author!

  • I agree that this book did not hold my interest! It went from one plot to another. I will not be reading any more of this authors books.

  • this was a good book, written by a man but very good, close to brunstteter, nadia rehmani-author of sharper than a two edged sword-one woman's walk into islam and out.have a good day,

  • I agree with the other comment about it now being on par with Wanda Brunstetter and Beverly Lewis novels. I doubt I will read other books by this author.
