Indeed, the story of the coming redeemer was written in the stars when the heavens were originally put in order by God. The first part of this study examines the Biblical information regarding "his star" which was seen by the wise men. The Biblical record is enhanced and substantiated by astronomical and historical records which further underscore the magnitude of God's power and love in planning for our redemption. Once "his star" has been identified, the documentation of the very day and the time of day when the Christ was born can be pinpointed....As the research team and I considered and reconsidered the structure of this study, we went back and; forth trying to determine which part of this research should come first: the Biblical astronomy with its historical and scientific data or the prophecies and people associated with the promised seed. This book is a gut wrenching research into the life of Jesus Christ during the last week of his life. It will make you cry and give you hope. It explains why He did what he had to do to save us. I thought the book was great. If you simply drop all the mental images that have been force fed to us by religous tradition and marketing, this book should excite your appreciation of God and his word. How simple it really is!!! It's amazing what is and (maybe more importantly) ISN'T written in the scriptures. But without reading it for yourself, you will never know. This book opens it up.

Having recently returned from the Lowell Observatory in Flagstaff, I am even more eager to reread Jesus Christ Our Promised Seed before the holidays begin.

Many people have long known that Jesus Christ was not born in December, but that the date was a "christianization" of a pagan holiday by the Roman Catholic Church. (Incidentally, I was even taught that in a Roman Catholic school.) But this is the most accessible, well-documented in both scripture and history, logical, and easy to read discussion of the topic I have seen.

Even if you are not familiar with astronomy, you can understand this book, though I suggest you start with the historical sections first, which are easy to read, and will be most familiar. But the astronomical termns are explained. You will be able to understand them if you want to.

Jesus Christ Our Promised Seed opens up sections of scripture, particulary astronomical references, (stars given for signs and seasions) that have long been misunderstood, or not understood at all.

You will find that the "wise men" were not kings at all (the scripture does not say so and tradition is wrong) but serious ancient astronomers acting on astronomical and biblical knowledge that had been passed down for generations.

What most people forget is that the Bible is an eastern book, abounding with cultural expressiona,idioms and references that are often obscured by Western culture and traditions.

If you have a desire to study to learn the truth, this is a book worth investing in--and rereading annually.

This book, Jesus Christ our Promised seed writen by Dr. Victor Paul Wierwille and his research team is astonding. He systimatically and logicaly proves to you that Jesus Christ was not born on Dec. 25th like tradition and religion teaches, but it was actually on September the 11th 3 BC between 6:18pm and 7:39pm Palastine time. He does this using number 1 and most importantly rightly divided scriptures from the Word of God (The Bible), with proven historical facts (actual proven ones, not just claiming their reality or claiming that they are true when they are not, like some authors do) and lastly the mathmatical exactness of the stars.

He also gets into issues like The magi and "His Star", Where the thought of Dec. 25th came from, events sorrunding Jesus Christ's birth and some other really cool things. I'm not joking when I say this is one of the best books you'll ever read. It is mind boogeling while it makes complete and accurate sense, showing you the mathmatical exactness of God and His Word and how it all fits together.

I would also suggest reading by the same author, Jesus Christ Our Passover. A book which goes over ALL (or atleast almost all) the events surronding the death/crusifiction and ressurectoin of J.C. Neither of these books are cultish in any way, but if you want to find out the truth of God's Word concerning these matters from true and accurate biblical research and study (II Timothy 2:15) and men that do their best to only work in that manner (II Timothy 2:15) then this author and his material is right for you!
