A book written by a biographer is "The magic, the madness, the whole story". I haven't read it, but some people I've seen on the internet say it's a great book. The Secret is a best-selling 2006 self-help book by Rhonda Byrne, based on the earlier film of the same name. It is based on the belief of the law of attraction, which claims that thoughts can change a person's life directly. Critics have claimed that books such as this promote political complacency and a failure to engage with reality, and that "it isn't new, and it isn't a secret"

The book I am studying, about mysteries.

The book I am studying, about mysteries. Everyone gets an audio-guide and they start to walk around the enormous stone circle. Uncle Stephen walks in the opposite direction and looks at his old book of mysteries. He reads something and then looks at the stones.

One day I met an extraordinary man. Two shocking words came over the television when he died and suddenly Michael Jackson was no longer bizarre. Of all the books written about Michael none told the real story of what was going on. This book removes the labels, the lies and mystery of Michael's life. This book will introduce you to the beautiful being that was the real Michael Jackson. This book will shock you and might make you cry. You will finally understand what Michael was really saying. It will surely open your eyes to the secret that kept Michael caged and in what he called "prison" all of his life.
  • I've just finished reading the book and Im very upset and even angry about it! I think that Victoria gave an excellent review, like she took the words out of my mouth!
I've been following MJ for decades, and he was NOT impaired or handicapped! Little eccentric yes, but aren't we all? This book seems to be written in a rush, full of tabloids stories, YT interviews (takeen out of context), wrong quotes (Tamboreli is probably Taraborreelli?; The music & the madness is actually The magic & the madness?). I belive that author of this book has some knowledge on disabled, impaired or handicapped children and adults, but that is not the case with MJ! She never met him, talk to him or even seen him in person. She doesn't know anything (or very little) about his life, his dreams and his personal life (he was very shy talking about that, remember?). All she knows, she red in the tabloids and on the internet! Even his family and friend didn't know much about his personal life! And what I'm most angry about is the fact that she just "met" him and thinks she knows everything and can't believe that the whole world have been in dark for his entire life! Not even ONE doctor or trained person ever mentioned similar theory, but I guess that only the author knows the secret... yeah right!

Don't buy this book and save some money and LOTS of nervs!

  • Since Michael Jackson died, there have been so many books written about him. This was a book that captured my curiosity. I read it, but I didn't buy into everything that was written.

  • After learning about the history of the legendary artist we now understand that this author was onto something and according to others that new MJ the artist he was an individual with a developmental delay.

  • From the very first words to the very last open ended line, what the author has written are like words plucked from my heart. This is the secret theory I have held for many years about this beautiful, brilliant soul. Though many people would get angered if I dared to go there, it was always my retrospect. I want to thank you for the courage to say it, and say it with the right sense of compassion deserving of Mr. Michael Jackson. It leaves me breathless. I wish that I could sit and have a conversation with this writer and cry with her because that is the kind of emotion this book evokes.

Wonderfully written. Beautifully illustrated. Positively enchanting.

  • I have just spent the past couple of hours reading this book and it is one that all Michael fans need to read. If what the author says about the right-brain and left-brain is true it will explain everything! Michael was not capable of hurting another human being espically a child. They were everything to him. I believe that the majority of Michaels problems in relating with others really started with his treatment by his father when he was a child himself. He was not capeable of doing to others what had been done to him! He was a kind and loving person and the world is poorer for having lost him. I play his music everyday and pray for his spirit everyday also. I also agree that his 3 children should have been continued to be raised as he was raising them. His mother is doing her best, but I think he would be upset to see how it is now with the 3 children he so loved.

  • Fascinating theory. I have heard before about the right brain and left brain theories and I believe that it is entirely possible that
Michael was probably "handicapped" as Ms. Eddington suggests. Even though she did not ever treat nor did she work with Michael, I believe that she posseses the experience and knowledge to make such observations about Michael. I thoroughly enjoyed this book and I do recommend the book to anyone that wonders why Michael behaved the way he did. Society is very ignorant about mental issues and about why people behave the way they do and this is why there are so many injustices and cruelty towards other human beings. This book is full of information about how the brain works and I want to say thank you very much to Ms. Eddington for writing the book to defend my angel, Michael.

  • This book is a MUST READ!!! It explains so much. I had a hard time putting it down at night. Why he acted the way he did. And a persons brain if they are with a handicap such as his how a person reacts.
And why his 'handlers' took care of details for him, and prevented others and the world from knowing...Also, why he searched for answers his entire life, even till the end of why he was so different, and also why he couldn't find love and true acceptance.

  • As a medical professional, I undersand the views of the author. It all makes me so sad and I can't say that it is a "feel good" book, but I will read it again (and again). I love MJ for what he was trying to do for the people of the world and our planet.
