The Kennedys: All the Gossip Unfit for Print (Babylon). It’s amazing how much they kept out of the gossip columns back in the day. There’s so many astonishing tales, like the story that Frank carried suitcases full of cash from Havana as a favor to the Mob, or the whole chapter detailing the roller coaster ride that was his marriage to Ava Gardner. The chapter about Billie Holliday and her tragic death proves that the authors can depict moving, sad moments as well.

Danforth Prince, Darwin Porter. Can't get enough on the Kennedy's. Of course gossip is the key word here. Much of it seemed quite believable though. Jack Kennedy which much of the book concentrates on was really a man that most thought they knew so well but in reality would have been pretty shocked my his behavior. Nothing is sadder than his death in Dallas of course and the book closes on this with some sad details on words surrounding the event. It was his reckless womanizing though that was so much a key part of his life and how he did not seem to care much

No other book in the history of publishing has assembled in one volume 80 years of pansexual scandals associated with the Kennedys-all in one guilty pleasure of a sizzling book. Meticulously researched, it showcases the indiscretions and extramarital romps of America's most famous political clan. In addition to lesser known and often shocking scandals about Jack (Mr. President), other parts of this pioneering page-turner will be devoted to Bobby and Teddy, with extra space reserved for founding father Joseph P. Kennedy when he operated as a libidinous Hollywood mogul. Paparazzi cameras zoom in on that uber-goddess of all things glam, Jackie, documenting her many love affairs, which were matched only by America's Prince Charming, her son, John-John, a horny young man with a gleam in his eyes. The Kennedys is illustrated with hundreds of candid photographs.

Runner-Up in the category of BIOGRAPHY from the 2011 HOLLYWOOD BOOK FESTIVAL

  • The National Enquirer in book form. Some fun gossip, but I wouldn't want to quote it. VERY poorly documented, no references. Is it true or ??? Also, regurgitated the same stories repeatedly . It was about 75 page discourse repeated over, and over, and over till they could put a binding on it, and call it a book. Seemed like it was a compilation of short articles, repeated. 5 great, interesting stories repeated. A fun book...if you can buy it for a penny + shipping, you'll enjoy it. Be willing to skip the stuff you read before. Thanks, Dave in Colorado

  • How much is true I wonder, but makes you want to read more and more, times when I feel it should be considered X rated but of course I did finish it and a times had problems putting it down

  • Howie does it again, shake the trees and print the fallout. Lots of hearsay, changed my view of many of my favorites in the movie industry.

  • Too much repetition of the stories....Poor editing

  • A lot of it is silly and unbelievable. Entertaining trash.

  • A good read that was not a re-hash of other Kennedy books!

  • mostly trash and much of it is probably not true.

  • excellent transaction
