This is a fantastic book to have:

1. Inspires to live a great life,
2. Teaches what life is about.

But:

Rather shamefully there are many editing mistakes in there (especially repeating quotes - sometimes one after another!), this is really disturbing to come across, the good feeling you get can be just shattered in seconds (to the point that you decide to write a rant about it on Amazon;).

Overall, it's a great book to have, although I would encourage everyone to wait until a revised edition comes out.

The book was as expected BUT, I did not expect to pay shipping from Australia which exceeded the price of the book almost two-fold! I'm sure it was my fault that I didn't pay close enough attention, but believe me, I will the next time!

Abandoned Electrical

I had much hopes with this book, but it has two major flaws, 1- very few quotations are business related, hence the title is totally misleading 2- The objective of the book was to collect as many quotations as possible to create a thick book, however they totally lack in quality. In fact, one can pick a category from the book, search it in google and can find much more meaningful quotations.

This collection of quotations is outstanding. It is indexed by countless topics. Many of the quotations are profound. Some of the quotations are from famous people; many are from people who are not well known. Subjects cover ethical values, business, and diverse matters of life. I strongly recommend it to writers, people who do public speaking, and anyone who is seeking concise wisdom. There is no particular perspective put forth in this collection. Many quotations are in conflict with other quotations, and will be interpreted depending upon your personal life experiences. The only thing that would make it better would be to include the citations published sources of each of the quotations.

I love collections of quotations and every page of this book is rich in ideas and sayings.
As with all considerable selections of quotations there is so much here to ponder, that one can never really hope to finish the book.
One drops in here and there, and gets pleasure from the reading. One quotation strikes and seems like a great truth one has always known but never articulated- another seems blatantly false- still another opens up new worlds.
As a non- businessman I do not know how useful these quotations will be to the managers and money- makers but I think anyone who enjoys a good thought will get a lot of pleasure and insight from this collection.
