  • This is a great book for entrepreneurship.

Note: This book is nearly identical to the latest edition. The only difference is picture on the front, fonts used, page numbers, and some of the problems at the end of the chapters were simply rearranged (compared it with a classmate's). DO NOT fall for the whole "you need the latest edition" requirement. It is downright crooked for a publishing company to change such minor things, call it a newer edition, and up the price to hundreds of dollars. It's also heartless for a professor in a college of business to force his students to pay hundreds of dollars for something so similar to a book that only costs $40 or $50. Buy the next latest edition of any book you purchase and save a ton of money!

  • I highly recommend "Entrepreneurial Small Business" by Jerome Katz and Richard Green. This is a great book for anyone taking a business or entrepreneurship course, or anyone interested in starting their own business. It is a shortcut to the best information on business available - all compiled into one hardback manual. It covers from start to finish the "how-to" steps to coming up with the most feasible business concepts, how to get funding, how to develop and market the business, and the legal and accounting practices that every business should follow to stay in compliance and out of trouble. It covers it all. Don't try to learn it the hard way through trial and failure with your new business - get this book, read it, and save it as a resource as your business grows. (I also highly recommend to professors looking for a comprehensive textbook for your business courses.)

  • Pretty good for a textbook. I found myself actually wanting to read the business stories in the chapter and the book does a good job of tying those into the chapters.

  • The book I needed for my class. There are books out there that you do not have the option of renting. This is a great option and good price for a text book. If you like the material and want the book then buy it. If you just need it for a class then rent it. Amazon and Kindle are very easy to deal with and use, especially compared to other lagging options out there. I would give it five stars if it were cheaper.

  • Picked up the "Kindle" version that is NOT available on the Kindle. Make sure you read the fine print. It says in all Caps that it is the Kindle version, yet it is only available on Kindle apps if you read the fine print.

The cost is ridiculously high for an electronic version that cannot be rented, resold or even used on a Kindle. Who wants to have to pull out their laptop on a flight to read their book?

Buy the hardback and resell it. This version is worthless and overpriced.

  • this was a great book in great shoape and a good deal compared to most rentals i would reccomend using this site
