Competence and Power in Managerial Decision-Making. This individual-level indicator of OD reflects the degree of employees' actual and direct participation in strategic or tactical decision making as perceived by the employees themselves. This indicator was measured by self-report questionnaires (. measures by Heller, Drenth, Koopman, & Rus, 1988;IDE, 1981;Rubenowitz, Norrgren, & Tannenbaum, 1983;Weber & Unterrainer, 2012). We included only those studies in our meta-analysis that analysed IPD in both conventional hierarchical organisations and democratic enterprises.
