  • I never imagined a book like this would change my life a few years ago. I am in my third year in reading this book yearly. Time is life. This book contains strong, influential principles that once practiced can change the course of your life. A must read people that are serious in impacting the world

  • To help you of your purchase decision, I had copied "The ten important reminders and realities to dispel the myth of business and to double check that the person in charge of your life is you" on page 1x so you can have a better idea of what the authors' focus/solutions are about:-

    1. It is easier to be busy than to be productive
    2. Email is addictive
    3. Returning voicemails is an adult form of "tag, you're it".
    4. The cell phone is convenient,but it can undermine your ability to focus
    5. When you are late, regardless of the reason, you are probably kidding yourself as to the real reason.
    6. The leader's job is never to look busy but rather to be inquisitive, interested, calmly competent, and respected.
    7. If you cant connec with me within 24 hours, you are way too busy...or think you are.
    8. Your quiet time today at work and at home will probably be your most productive time...and truthfully, few of us use it enough.
    9. Dont kid yourself, your family, or even your stockholders.
    10. The busy part of you is not as important as the productive part.

    IMHO, the authors had too much of their top management consultancy customers in mind that an average reader like me may sometimes feel dissocicated or detached. Readable in the first half, but quickly dry up in the second. I can think of many better alternatives in the market, such as "10 Natural Laws of Successful Time and Life Management" and "What Matters Most: The Power of Living Your Values", both by Hyrum W. Smith.
