It is a great book to put on your coffee table and let your guests thumb through it. It would probably also be a good book to just read, although I haven't been through it cover to cover to verify that. The only drawback is that it is a little dated. The beer world has changed significantly since the craft beer revolution, which this predates. Still, there is a wealth of information that is and always will be relevant and interesting.
