  • A very handy cheat sheet to keep in the kitchen. Includes pre-punched holes so you can put it in a large 3-ring binder. You could easily take it to the store with you inside a planner or recipe binder. All of the Quick Study charts are laminated, but it's especially useful on this one because it's impervious to kitchen spills. You just wipe it off!

    The guides for cuts of meat are clear and accurate, with diagrams for beef / veal, as well as pork and lamb. The right-hand interior page covers poultry, including a handy carving guide. The back page covers seafood, including shellfish.

  • Great info for first time cooks and even us old timers can learn something new. Not as quick as the internet but great to read over and keep as an easy reference so as not to have to open the laptop while in the midst of cooking. The laminated service is easy to clean and since they are flat they store easily and take up little space. I gave this and several others in the series to my daughter and my daughter by another mother when they left for school.
