Mast Brothers Chocolate, A Family Cookbook Quite like the Victorian look of this book but not sure if it'd stand out in a book store. Hardcover, signed copy by Rick and Michael Mast. Mast Brothers Chocolate, A Family Cookbook.

Successful Cookbook Author Nancy Chih Ma, brings the art of cooking Chinese to the reader with over 200 authentic Chinese recipes adapted to a normal, modern kitchen. There are no hard-to-find ingredients called for (some items are found in Asian markets or can be substituted for other easier ingredients, all noted in the book). The author is equally helpful in providing information on Chinese cuisine in general, table settings and entertainment, typical Chinese menus, on the proper preparation of rice and tea, a very important and useful detail in creating the Chinese experience, and also her advice on the use of spices and flavorings. Best of all, the author places emphasis on time-saving and uncomplicated techniques throughout the book. An excellent cookbook filled with unique, delicious recipes (many with color photographs) and the autor's style makes it feel like you are cooking with her.
  • The worst Chinese cook book. It shouldn't be call Chinese cook book. It should be call Wanna be Chinese but can't. BYW this cookbook came torn and worn. Someone must have used it and didn't like it either.

  • This is the best Chinese cookbook ever. I have had it for over 30 years. My husband, who is Chinese and came to the U.S. when he was 16, says it has the best basic Chinese recipes of any Chinese cookbook he's used. It is very authentic. Our daughter is getting married and we wanted to give her her own copy of Mrs. Ma's. The book came on time, was carefully packaged and came in excellent condition.

  • Authentic, old school Chinese recipes. My husband loves it when I cook something from these recipes.

  • My favorite Chinese cook book! The sweet and sour pork and chicken with peanuts have been favorites with my family and friends for decades.
