  • The first thing I noticed when I flipped through this cookbook are the amazing photographs that accompany each recipe. Gold star to the photographer because every single shot made me wish I could just pick up the item and begin eating. The photographs inspired me to want to make every single dish. The book is organized by meal - breakfast, lunch, afternoon tea, dinner, and dessert. I've made a handful of recipes thus far (Shrimp and Rice Vermicelli Salad, Almond and Raspberry Bar, and Grilled White Fish with Corn Salsa) and all turned out delicious. The recipes are clear and easy to follow. The majority of ingredients are easy to find at your local supermarket. There were two items that I had to work to find (Pomegranate Molasses and Golden Syrup) but I found them on Amazon so no worries for this gal. One specific thing I will note is that you will need to have a kitchen scale accessible when making certain recipes as certain ingredients are written in pound or ounces (example - 1 pound 2 ounces cherry tomatoes, 5 1/2 ounces superfine sugar, 3 1/2 ounces all purpose flour). I look forward to trying more recipes from this cookbook. Highly recommend!

  • I love Bill Granger's simple but yummy recipes. I'm always looking for quick and tasty dishes to cook during the week and his book definitely contains lots of these. I have bought all his books but this book contains most of the recipes in the other books.

  • I really love this book. The only difficulty sometimes if the ingredients that are easily found in Bill's native Australia are more difficult of impossible to find here. However, it is easy to make substitutions and produce delicious healthy food

  • Love going through reading this book - these recipes are all user friendly and not fussy and the photographs are great.

I have been making pavlovas on and off for quite a few years - this time I followed the recipe included in this book and this was definitely the best one I have ever made. Will be using this recipe from hereon.

Look forward to making more from this book as it is so user friendly - even if you're not an everyday cook.

  • Every cook should have at least one Bill Granger book and this is a particularly good one as it is "the best of". Bill's recipes are simple and are the kind of things you make on a weeknight after work- the key is to follow them exactly and you will rarely be disappointed

  • This is a wonderful cookbook! A great addition to any cooking library that would fit in for daily living for all cooks!
