Keith Gibbs is a native of New York City, the South Bronx to be exact. He graduated from William Howard Taft high school in the Bronx and there after enlisted in the United States Marine Corps. Gibbs' first tour of duty was Okinawa, Japan where he spent 18 months learning the military supply system. Upon leaving Okinawa he toured many locations around the globe. In the early 80’s Gibbs requested to become a Drill Instructor. As a civilian, Gibbs took on the task of completing his college degree while maintaining a full time job. Successful balancing the demands of his work, his family and night school was not easy by any means.
