  • This textbook is great! I had downloaded the e-textbook from the university (limited use) and it was a PAIN-IN-THE-BUTT
to use it. It had to be downloaded each time to be used and couldn't be transferred to a Kindle Tablet....
Although I'm old-ish fashion in some cases a hard (school) book is prefered because it is easier to reference back & forth
and create notes in the margins where in a e-book it can't.
So, there is much good information concerning (child) education psychology and the different aspects of learning there are and how
    they are interrelated.
I somewhat disagree with some ideas presented in the text based on my childhood experiences, but other than this it is a fine school
book. It is better than the downloaded version. Happy Future Teaching! I think it needs a section on child-student hate for a teacher...
    I'm ready, Bring It Kiddos!

  • Don't buy this book, it is not available for Android or IPhone even if you have the App. It is an E book and it is very slow when you need to search for something or change pages. Also, Pearson customer service was terrible. I called many times for different reasons. It can only be used on desk top and it costs just as much as purchasing a text book. The purchase also expires so it's not yours to keep so you need to print it.

  • What a great book if your trying to be a psychology major!! This book escalated me into an A for this class. Lots of info, easy to understand, learned alot and I am keeping the book for personal use.

  • It was what I needed out of a textbook. Got me through my class, and then I sold it afterwards. If you need it for your class, you're probably going to pick this up regardless of the reviews.

  • I bought this book because it was required for the course I am attending. It is very clear and rich of practical tips for class. I like the structure and the content (not exhaustive but sufficient for a Teach Cred Progr). I bought it used, in decent conditions. It gets 4 stars because it did not include the "My Lab" online thing...which completes it.

  • I purchased a binder to hold the pages and that worked fine. My copy was purchased used and arrived with a weird odor, but it worked fine for my 12-week course.

  • The book was in excellent condition, I received it in a timely fashion and the service was outstanding. I am always looks for affordable books that are in good condition for class and this purchase was no different. I will forever shop Amazon when I am in need of other purchases. This is a great book at a great price.

  • This arrived sooner than expected and meets my expectations as listed in description. Glad I found this instead of paying an arm and a leg at my university book store.
