Symposium H – Optical Materials: Processing and Science. Page/Article number Title Type Online publication date. Diamond-like a-C:H films were obtained by reactive dc-magnetron sputtering from a glassy carbon target in an argon-hydrogen atmosphere. To our knowledge, this is the first time that glassy carbon is used as target material. The a-C:H films are transparent and hard. The a-C:H films can be used as protection and antireflection coatings on a-Si:H photoreceptors. The electrical, optical and structural properties of the a-C:H films are examined. Optical Dispersion Relations for Diamondlike Carbon Films.

Download books for free. For years scientists turned to the CRC Handbook of Laser Science & Technology for reliable data on optical materials. Out of print for several years, that standard-setting work now has a successor: the Handbook of Optical Materials. This new handbook is an authoritative compilation of the physical properties of materials used in all types of lasers and optical systems. Using a minimum of narration and logically organized by material properties, the handbook's unique presentation simplifies the process of comparing different materials for their suitability in particular applications.

Most recent Volume: Materials and Processes for Submicron Technologies

Most recent Volume: Materials and Processes for Submicron Technologies. The European Materials Society decided to hold a Symposium entitled Materials and Processes for Submicron Technologies in June 16-19, 1998, within the yearly E-MRS Spring Meeting in Strasbourg, France.

The book is divided into three parts. Part 1 covers topics involved in the development and progress of materials such as the focused beam ion; intermetallic compounds; polymers; and the application of computers in the field.

The MRS Symposium Proceeding series is an internationally recognised reference suitable for researchers and practitioners.
