Alongside the Panzer Is, Germany also committed three of its new heavy tanks, with limited purposes other than propaganda. Book by Winchester, Jim
  • OK I guess

  • On the minus side, this volume contains a few errors, but the three-way view illustrations (including overhead views) are definitely a big plus. Those illustrations alone make this a worthwhile purchase for any enthusiast of WWII AFVs.

  • The book is fairly small so it is not as easy to read. My grandsons like the info but the book is going to get lost on the shelf because of its small size.

  • Purchased for a 8 yr. old. He's got the video game Ruse. Says this book really helped him choose right equipment.

  • My 9 year old son LOVES this book! Great price and it was delivered quickly!

  • An excellent book in great condition. Super fast shipping. What more could you ask??

Each vehicle is illustrated by a well-captioned color three-view and two or more photos, including color shots. The accompanying narrative gives brief development and combat history along with a stand-alone tech specs summary.

TANKS AND ARMORED FIGHTING VEHICLES OF WORLD WAR II is just what it appears to be: a nice, pocket-sized, short and sweet intro to by-gone metal monsters that went clank in the night (and day). As a Barnes & Noble Remainder Table selection, you can probably pick up a copy for $3.00-$5.00. It would make a great Christmas stocking stuffer for armor fans!

  • This is a perfect book for my son. He is very into WWII vehicles. He is going to love it!
