The world of SNAP is skewed, oddball, surreal, feeling as if the characters have entered an intricate hall of mirrors.

Book by Frucht, Abby
  • I read this book when it was released in 1990, only once, but it still remains with me to this day, 28 years later.
Storyline was sad and lonely, but the writing was sensuous and delicious.

  • Under the calm surface of this Temporary Letter Carrier, her heart is filled with the struggle between loss and love, sadness and lust. In a town that everyone is moving away from, she is privvy and witness to emotions and events that seem to escape everyone else

  • The main character did not interest me at all.

  • I bought this book because of the cover and have tried to read it but find it really hard to believe that any publisher would bother to print it. I consider it to be of NO literary merit.

  • Ms. Abby,

I have treasured this book and hold it close to my heart - still! It is mesmerizing and put me inside the lives as I read it. I loved it and still think of it and have it in my collection. Thank you!!!????????????
