  • This was as some i loved it and I totally can't wait to read the next one in this series and I will be reading it ..I already bought it...

  • The book is cute and kind of charming and I did enjoy the read but it felt odd and almost unfinished... I felt like I was reading a rough draft of the final novella. It's basically the speed dating equivalent of a relationship, engagement and marriage. Matthew and Quaid meet as Matt is running away from his whackjob father with younger (but adult) brother in tow. He's arrested, cleared of the charges, introduced to Quaid who proposes marriage within twenty four hours of meeting. And all that is in the first few chapters. From there, the relationship between the two meanders until the overly dramatic climax.

The books moves that fast. And like any book moving that fast a lot of details get left out or lost and plot lines get left behind. One of the most irksome of plot holes is the leaving out of the "legend" portion of the story, something that helps define the book series. It's mentioned at one point that Matthew is Quaid's legend - and Matthew is perplexed and wants to know what that means. Quaid is shocked he forgot to mention it but will explain it when they get home, but that never happens. Another oops was in tracking down the bad guys. Everyone somehow forgot to check the house where one of them lived until days pass (really?). There are more but those are the two of the worst.

As for the "rough draft" portion of my review - there are so many spelling and grammatical errors it's painful. There are other places where the wrong word or even character name is used. In another place, a character vanishes from a scene without explanation. Did anyone proofread the book at all?

  • I had high hopes for this third novel in the Blaecleah Brothers series, but I have to say I was disappointed. *Warning..some spoilers*

My biggest complaint with this book is the amazing number of typos! I can recall ten right off the top of my head, and that's just unacceptable to me as a reader. Also, there were several sentences that didn't make any sense, and it completely threw me out of the story while I tried to figure out what she was trying to say. At times, I really felt like I was reading the first draft of a novel, not a published work.

Content wise, I felt like there were some holes in this story. For example, Quaid never explains to Matthew what being "his legend" means, which is something that happened in the previous stories of this series. I don't understand why that was left out.

The sex scenes, the very few of them there were, are adequate but lacked some of the passion I saw in the first book of this series. And the use of Matthew's pet name was a tad bit overdone. Who calls someone by their pet name almost every time they speak? By the end of the book, when I saw the pet name "angel", I started rolling my eyes.

I think Stormy Glenn has some very interesting characters in this series, and this book is no exception. But as a whole it just didn't feel like a fully fleshed out story to me. More like a really good first draft.

  • Oh what a wonderful book. I can't wait for the next one. Have you every had a book that you just know is going to touch your heart in some way that you just can't put it down till it is done. Well I have some big news for you this is one of those types of books.

  • A wonderful series.

  • I only order books that I have read a short portion of and if it reminds me of my past or holds my interest. I know I will like it or love it. But with all that said books of many in a series... you need to be careful because they all can read the same. so far so good.

  • Good story. OK read

  • I enjoyed the book, it has a good storyline. The characters are developed well and the series tie together. You can tell this is written by a woman though, sometimes the characters are too "femalized", its not as realistic of a read as male written novels. I would still recommend it for a good romance.
