The Deception Baron Novels.

The complete revamping of Catherine Coulter's 1983 Signet Regency, An Intimate Deception, led to this: a full-bodied historical romance with a new beginning and a new ending.
  • We get very little of the hero's thoughts in this tale, never a good thing for me. And I just do not like a hero who is "God Gift To Women", and then we are constantly reminded about it.. Also I can't stand when a man (regardless of how good looking he is) is described as "beautiful". And the fact that he kept thinking that he had known and bedded many women far more beautiful than the heroine, spoiled somewhat the fantasy for me. But the fatal flaw this book had in my opinion was: that the heroine lusted far, far more over the hero than the other way around. At least that is how it came accross to me. And it is simply not my taste.

Note: The heroine's name is Evangeline and the hero's is Richard. I was very confused by some of the names the reviewers used concerning the main couple, I still am.

  • This book was actually quite good. I can't praise some of her other works but giving credit where credit is due, the deception was a pleasant read.

  • This was a great continuing story. The previous characters were only mentioned a few times but the way the story progressed was quite intriguing.

  • Delightful, clean, light entertainment. It nicely ties back to the previous two in the series, but doesn't require them to be complete.

  • Great read. Must read the series

  • book is fine but did not go to kindle fire

  • I enjoyed the baron series. Very entertaining. I loved the tight friendship shared by the men if this trilogy.

Read all of the series. You want regret it.

  • I loved it!
