Thomas McNulty writes 5-star westerns on par with Zane Grey, Max Brand and Louis L'AMour. I've now read and enjoyed five of his westerns, and he just keeps on getting better and better. From his prose to his characterization and action-packed climaxes, he helps keep the western genre alive and kicking. One day I hope to see him write his own epic, a magnum opus like Larry McMurty's Lonesome Dove. In "The Gunsmoke Serenade," Marshal Maxfield Knight see three gunslingers in the town of Cherrywood Crossing, CO, one afternoon.

Black Horse Westerns. Collection 1. Table of Contents. The man reached beneath the belly of the horse. There was no way the animal could take him any further

Black Horse Westerns. Nazimo led the nineteen braves away from the rest of the small settlement along the desert canyon. All they had was their courage to defend them. But they knew that the trading post and the fort beyond had plenty of rifles. Both were situated at the mouth of the canyon. The young men with paint on their faces and torsos led their ponies slowly towards the first of their objectives. There was no way the animal could take him any further. He loosened the cinch strap, dragged his saddlebags from behind the cantle and dropped them on to the sand.

A black horse is an equine coat color. Black Horse and Blackhorse may refer to: Blackhorse, Dublin, a neighbourhood in Dublin, Ireland. Black Horse, New Jersey, a community in the United States. Black Horse, Pennsylvania, an unincorporated community. Blackhorse, West Virginia, a community in the United States. Black Horse (spaceplane), a proposed winged, single stage to orbit launch vehicle. Black Horse Cavalry, a 19th-century group of corruptionists in the New York state legislature.

  • THIS IS A VERY WELL WRITTEN BOOK. IT IS FULL OF ACTION AND SUSPENSE. I DIDN'T WANT TO PUT IT DOWN UNTIL I FINISHED IT. IT IS SO FULL OF TWIST AND TURNS, SO YOU CAN'T POSSIBLY TELL WHAT MIGHT HAPPEN NEXT (MURPHY'S LAW). THE ENDING WILL SURELY SURPRISE YOU. THIS IS THE FIRST BOOK I HAVE READ BY MARK BANNERMAN, BUT, IT WON'T BE THE LAST, I PROMISE. IF YOU LIKE A TURE WESTERN ACTION BOOK, THIS IS FOR YOU.

  • A top notch western story, I regretted seeing it come to the end.
There is currently a multitude of authors, but a rare field of good western authors,
mark Bannerman is galloping ahead of a small field of his peers.

  • Great book with good characters. The drama holds your interest throughout every chapter with so many wounds you have to wonder how they can survive.

  • I read Westerns for years but had stopped reading. This was my first return read. It is on par with a decent plots and twist of a good western book.

  • Too short and too boring, not worth the effort to read. Just not good western fiction or else just very poorly written.

  • This bok was so average, I didn't even finish it. Nothing new here but if that's what you like go for it.

  • Well written and good western story.
If you ljke westerns you will enjoy this
I wish this writer good fortune.

  • Entertaining and good story line. Charectors were interesting. Author obviously enjoyed writing this book. Cant think of six more words, I'm a reader not a critic.
