Danielle Steel’s newest novel, Happy Birthday, follows three individuals marking milestone birthdays. Jack Adams is a former NFL superstar and now anchors a sports show at the same network as Valerie.

In this beguiling new novel, Danielle Steel tells the story of three very different people, each of whom, on the same day, reaches a crucial turning point in life-a rite both bittersweet and full of hope, a time to blow out the candles, say goodbye to the past, and make a wish for the future. Valerie Wyatt is the queen of gracious living and the arbiter of taste. But after a particularly memorable Halloween party, Jack wakes up on his fiftieth birthday, his back thrown out of whack, feeling every year his age. A terrifying act of violence, an out-of-the-blue blessing, and two extremely unlikely love affairs soon turn lives inside out and upside down.

Danielle Steel got me again. Happy Birthday was a wonderful story surrounded with everyday issues and wonderful people. I really loved the matriarch. She was born for today's times yet she had great ambitions from her youth to the present

Danielle Steel got me again. She was born for today's times yet she had great ambitions from her youth to the present. She was a wonderful example for her children, but she does realize that with all her ambitions something in her life must suffer I think the relationships in this story were fabulous. It would be nice if they were as uncomplicated as Danielle Steel portrayed in this story.

Happy Birthday by Danielle Steel Valerie is now 60 and the radio announcer has told the whole world of this. She does look 40 though with all the botox she's had done. She has her own TV talk show. icial or on Twitter: ellesteel. Библиографические данные.

Danielle Fernande Schuelein-Steel was born on Aug. 14, 1947, in New York City. Steel was a lonely child who immersed herself in poetry and books, especially those by her favourite author, French novelist Colette. She was an only child, and after her parents divorced she was reared by relatives and family employees in Paris and New York City. By the age of 15, Steel had graduated from the Lycée Français, and in 1963 she enrolled in the Parsons School of Design, in New York. Illness prevented her from finishing her studies, but when she recovered, Steel married a wealthy French banker.

They both loved staying at the Ritz and had stayed there before. Paparazzi took their photographs occasionally as they went in and out of the hotel. Neither of them was major news in Europe, but they were both well-known. And they loved being with each other. Jack was astonishingly generous with her, and bought her a gold bracelet, and a fur jacket she saw and fell in love with.

  • One of the best books I have read in forever! The storyline was great, the characters beguiling! The whole family interaction wads fun and happy!!!! A feel-good book, with several touches of "uh-oh" that's not gonna work!!!! Loved it start to finish!!!

  • My mom is 92 and can't read without glasses and large print. Most books aren't so I'm glad many of Danielle Steele's (whom she likes) do come in large print. She enjoyed this book very much and is passing it on to her friends who also appreciate the larger print.

  • Purchased this for my 96 year young mom. she enjoyed it and said it was easy to read. she has vision problems so this help having the large print. Had quit reading because the print is to small on most things.
