The three things that makes me happy everyday are :: CALL FROM HOME → After a long tiring day, call from home refreshes me all the way and I am again recharged for anything and everything that I want to do. LEARNING SOMETHING NEW EACH DAY → Learning and exploring new things and topics everyday makes me happy the most. Writing fantasy is a tremendously personal journey, and when someone tells me that reading my books made them happy, wow! My spirit soars! The experience of joy comes, much like happiness, as a side effect of connecting with other things.

Being compassionate makes us happier (causal, not correlative. Doing nice things for others today can literally make you happier for the rest of the week. Take time to really enjoy the good things.

To make tomorrow beautiful, think of it today. You cannot be happy if you think about the unpleasant things of the past. Have you made a mistake?

There are lots of ways to practice gratitude, from keeping a journal of things you’re grateful for, sharing three good things that happen each day with a friend or your partner, and going out of your way to show gratitude when others help you.
