  • Interesting story line but sometimes confusing as to locations and directions. I kind of like locations and distances mapped out and this really seems at times to ignore distances and the reality that the author had established. It is exciting enough that it is still worth reading. But it is sort of like "Lost in Space". Will they ever get to the "Safehaven" where they can to return to fighting with each other?

  • I really expected to like this book. Intelligent, bi-pedal cats & dinosaurs? Yes, please! The premise was great but each story in this collection was choppy and slow and I had to make myself finish the book. Disappointing to say the least.

  • All of the stories were good to great. But there needed to be a tie in/flow. Only the flood was the same but there was no continuity to bind the stories together. Must read this as a collection of stories not one novel.

  • Different authors deal with the same material in their own way, not all in a storyline I like

  • Good story, a little jarring when they switch from one writer to another, but I like the content and the story is well told... Good alternate universe...... Recommended

  • Interesting,

  • Good book half way though I quite rather like it.

  • It is always hard to develop characters in short stories but these authors succeed.
The action is good but more importantly, the interaction is good.
The extensive use of magic comes close to a deus ex machina but not enough to ruin the stories.
