  • Well, this is certainly the appropriate title for this book. I love the graphics; however I am mad that this book just dragged on. The subject matter appeared to be glorified and that is not okay with me. They could have summed up this story very quickly. When will males learn that this type of behavior is not acceptable and nothing to be praised for.? It was so senseless that ignorant, Lance thought because he had a little money in the bank, drove a nice car and believed that he was educated and practiced religion because he certainly was no Christian- thought he had a "get out of jail card to be accepted as a "dog"??? All of the characters seem so stupid. When will our women learn that marrying a man will not change his behaviors? Lance was playing with fire and the stupid wife, Nicole stayed in his corner even after he treated her like trash. She was stupid enough to believe that his apology will change anything? Toni, played herself like a fool by believing that she could change a married man and allowed herself to get pregnant with the hope that "Joy would come in the morning".

The ending of this book was WTF?

  • I’m not against religion but this book to me was about a Christian man who was a sex addict. All of the scripture quotes was kind of annoying and after all of his asking God for forgiveness for being a sex addict he still turned back to his old way, he’s a total hypocrite.

  • Sections of this book had me laughing and shaking my head at Lance's antics, extreme cover-ups, and uninhibited thoughts and candidness. The author did a great job at allowing readers into the head of a self-proclaimed dog. However, the author also had a habit of "telling" periods of dialogue rather than showing and for all the sex that was mentioned, the book lacked descriptive. Erotica is obviously not one the of the author's fine suits. The ending left me confused. It was almost as if it was rushed and slapped together. I would be interested to know if Lance and Nicole's marriage survived the long run and if Lance was really as rehabilitated as he suggested---or at least I think that was what he suggested. A sequel would be needed to make sense of it all.

  • It was a good read.

  • Excellent from start to the end.

  • I WILL NEVER, EVER GET ANOTHER BOOK FROM THIS AUTHOR, THIS IS ONE OF THE WORST BOOKS I'VE READ. THE AUTHOR STARTS OFF BY TELLING SIZES OF WOMEN AND IF THEY DON'T HAVE CERTAIN STYLES THEN THEY'RE NOT APPROVED FOR CERTAIN "THINGS." PLEASE, A WOMEN'S SIZE DOESN'T MAKE HER LESS OR MORE SPECIAL THEN THE NEXT PERSON. MARK PLEASE GET ANOTHER STORY LINE AND TAKE THIS MESS OFF THE MARKET. BORING AND TO MAKE IT SO BAD, I LET SEVERAL PEOPLE HOLD THIS BOOK AND I GOT THE SAME RESPONSE, THIS BOOK MISSED A LOT OF MARKS AND IT WAS BORING FROM START TO FINISH. I WLL NEVER BUY ANOTHER ONE OF YOUR BOOKS AGAIN, I WORK TO HARD TO GIVE MY MONEY AWAY TO AN AUTHOR THAT DEGRADE WOMEN AND PUT THEM DOWN.

  • Why would a happily married, God-fearing, father who appears to have it all: a well paying job, nice home, and two cars, cheat? DOGISM by Mark Anthony, gives us some insight on an affliction quite a few men have, which is the need to be unfaithful in their relationships.

Lance and Nicole Thomas have been married for five years. They have a four year old son named LL and are both active in their church. From the outside looking in they appear to have it all, but all that glitters isn't gold and Lance is living a double life.

Lance and his mistress Scarlet have been together for the duration of his marriage. Scarlet, a stripper, has a serious obsession for Lance, and will not let him go by any means. No matter how hard Lance tries not to allow his eyes to wander, he ends up doing so anyway. In the process, he meets a new possible mistress and sets his sights on making her his woman.

Lance ends up juggling his job, wife, son, God and his mistress and soon realizes it may be more stress that it's worth. Will Lance make the right decision and end any and all affairs? Or will he succumb to every pretty woman who crosses his path? Will Nicole find out the truth about her husband? Or will she think he is the faithful husband he portrays.

If you want some insight on why men cheat, then pick up this book. Granted it is a work of fiction, but there are several truths which allow you to get into a cheating man's heart and mind, and see why they do what they do.
