(but if I'm really being honest with myself, I probably will. how do you do it, Harlequin?)

  • The story is cute, and as is the norm for most romance novels, it is unrealistic and too compact to be believable. It is nice escapism and the characters are rather likeable, especially the heroine, Rachel. This book is literally filled to the brim with grammatical errors, and that was a major turnoff. All in all, the book is cutesy, and it is hard to find fault with cutesy books with loveable characters. The story is far from credible (these books usually are not, and are mostly female driven porn fantasies, but that is the point), but that is why we read them. Tolstoy it's not, but is a must read for single moms, romance readers, and those who just want something to brighten their day a bit.

  • The love affair was sweet, and Jack was a putz to not reveal the truth earlier, but love does make fools of us.

  • The book was a breeze to read, but the typos and grammatical errors were annoying. Story was ok but seemed a little superficial.
