  • My four star rating reflects the appeal of the hero mostly, and the fact that the author was brave enough to attack an issue that does not not get talked about much. While I initially liked the heroine very much because of her honesty and bluntness, there were times she was cringe worthy in her naivety that crossed into voluntary stupidity. The heroine was often likeable, but she cried and babbled a lot. Ew. Still, this was a different and interesting Harlequin, and I greatly enjoyed the hero's tenderness.

  • Kudos to Ms. Monroe for tackling such a sensitive subject. I think she portrayed the h in a realistic manner, most woman who suffer such issues, do indeed, feel a sense of shame and how it can erode confidence and self-esteem. I absolutely loved the H, his patience, and caring encouraged the h to be open with him. I loved that he took the initiative to find as much information as he could, never made her feel less of a woman, and considered "the treatment" a form of true intimacy that he enjoyed giving her. He was a real man and true hero. A must read..... d:)

  • This book is a great love story. It brings to light that most problems can be worked thru if you have the desire to do so.

  • What a real man! Thank you Ms. Monroe. I had never heard of this condition. Absolutely loved this book and highly recommend it to others. Don't miss out on this one. Wow what love!!

  • What a. Great story. And it has the best ending Wish there were more men like Damian around. Of course harlequin presents are always great reads.

  • Wow! This one totally blew my mind. What a flawlessly written story. True love overcomes any obstacle it may encounter. My hat goes off to Ms Monroe. Thank you for sharing your talent with us. Damian is just the perfect man in every sense of the word even with his imperfections. ;)

  • I cannot get this story out of my mind. I know its not a new release but I really did enjoy this ebook. It's one of those that just grab you and pull you into the story and make you wonder if a man could really be that caring, loving and protective. I wish I had my own Damian. I wish my husband would read this book and take some lessons in "amor"!! This one is a definate keeper!!

  • In comparison this book should not even be in the Lucy Monroe canon. This story made no sense. And I didn't appreciate the way the protagonist was treated by her family. A bargaining chip for saving some man's pride instead of the little girls life. I just didn't get it.
