  • I have recently discovered Anna Jacobs as an author and just love her books! I started with talking books and have exhausted my town library's supply, so am now reading on my kindle. It is many years since I have read well into the middle of the night, but I am doing it regularly now!

  • This book was a good read about a young woman who loses her husband in a tragic accident and then seems to put her life on hold. She moves in with her controlling brother and then meets this kind old gentlenmen one day at lunch. They continue their frienship until he dies and he leaves he his estate because he doesn't likehis only surviving relative. The only condition to his will is that she live a year alone at his Vineyard in Australia. She takes the chance and meets the handsome, quaralous next door neighbor who turns out to be her savior. The old gentlemen's nephew tries to sabotage her stay and the neighbor has to save her. All ends well. A great read full of adventure and romance!

  • I really enjoy Anna Jacobs's books. They are pleasant while keep me interested. Hope to read more.

  • Thought this would be just a time filler and ended up really enjoying the story.

  • It's a great book by Anna Jacobs, taking the herion from London to South Australia, with lots of twists and turns along the way.

  • Very nice condition. I gave it as a gift and will buy another for me

  • I have not finished this book yet, but I am enjoying the story. The characters are believable and as I have been to Margaret River I have a picture in my mind of where the story is set. Nicely written and a perfect book to read before sleeping.

  • fantastic read i couldn't put it down
