The puppet idea is adorable and my son loves that there's a different animal on each page....but....the writing in this book is Sooo annoying to me. A lot of the words and rhymes written aren't even words! Each page is very repetitive! Kinda drives me nuts. Not the worst book I've ever bought but it's definitely not one of our favorites. Plus is the size of the book is pretty large and the illustration is nice.

Wonderful puppet book
A bit tricky for kids but super read aloud

Daughter's class was upset when someone at school took the tattered and worn book home with them. My daughter was devastated. Took some effort to finally get the book, but it was worth the wait.

The writing is atrocious, and annoying to both read and hear.

I have bought this as a gift more than once and it is always a big hit with the preschool crowd. It is a toy and a book combined; it is fun for the child to move the puppet on their own as well as when the grown-up does it!

Both my 1 year old and 3 year old adore this book! It's so catchy you almost want to sing it! It's very entertaining and the kids love all the animals and noises. Great book!

Best kids puppet book ever! I bought this for my nephew because my son loved his so much!

My daughter thinks it's a little weird, but my grandson loves it. It makes him laugh. It makes me laugh, too.
