Nettie Jo and her three animal pals learn a valuable lesson about the reciprocity of friendship when she enlists their aid in making a new dress for her favorite doll
  • My classes of 2nd-5th grade gifted students met Scott Cook, who grew up in Jackson, Mississippi, at a presentation he did here. I love his illustrations but I also love the books that Patricia McKissack has done so I wanted to own this book. It tells a southern story and the characters are African-American, as is the author. It is a nice book to have!

  • Wonderful story about friendship.
