Cos there’s a light You never get back Once it dies But it’s alive And it’s waiting for her At the lost and found. Blood orange sky Red tail lights on the river Ten stories high Some things don’t last forever. She was July He fell like leaves around her Two different skies But they made a storm together. There’s a light You never get back Once it dies And it’s alive And it’s waiting for them At the lost and found At the lost and found. There’s a light You never get back Once it dies And it’s alive And it’s waiting for us At the lost and found At the lost and found.

Have you ever imagined while looking at your pet, what if they had a secret life fighting evil magicians in a mystical world. For Tiffany and Peter no imagination was necessary. When they adopted Pasha and Harold they had no idea their lovable hounds had an inherited destiny to fulfill. A Destiny that would see them become warriors for a magical group of inter dimensional overseers looking out for the human race. When their pre-teen masters discover their secret life and magical powers things really get interesting. One things for sure. This globe-trotting high stakes adventure has plenty of bite. Filled with mystical characters and spells a plenty. Follow the warrior group as they battle to maintain the balance of good and evil in this imaginative first entry in the Pasha series.
  • Pasha and the Lost Mountain is a magical tale about the adventures of two children and their dogs. The ancient plot of good against evil is depicted in a new series of books aimed at young adults who like a little fantasy in their reading material. This fun and fanciful page-turner appeals to all ages.

While some readers may not appreciate some of the humor in this highly readable novel, the majority of readers will probably like the action and adventure the protagonists experience while on their missions. This author, in his debut novel, has created some lovable and realistic characters.

Recommended for readers of fantasy and fiction ages 10 and up.
This review was simultaneously published on Amazon.com, Dragonviews, and LibraryThing

  • Dogs with magical powers, and two children with half the globe between them that share them. Dangerous adventures that last minutes in the real world but much longer in the magical alternate reality - all the makings are here of a wonderful young children's story.

Adults will tire of some of the concepts, or perhaps be irritated by the rather stereotypical English family, complete with tweed jackets! But kids probably will not care at all and could love this book.

Four stars for the intended audience, but adults probably should not bother with it.

  • I should have known by page 1, characters named Hans and Greta...hmmm, sounds familiar, where have I heard these names before...?
Perhaps I should have known by the majority of the reviews, written more like a dust cover than an honest interpretation, likely an attempt to boost sales.
Yet, even with the bland start, I had hopes that it would get better. I was wrong.
From the trite plot to the sheer lack of substance in the ostentatious characters, this novel was too ridiculous to believe, even as a fantasy book.
I tried to like it, wanted some light reading while traveling, but I just couldn't suffer through reading any more of it.

  • My son brought this book at a local store. Wanting to see what he was reading, I quickly picked it up as soon as he left the room. Unfortunately, he returned far too soon, within the two pages, I read I was hooked!
I spent the rest of the evening waiting for him to go to bed so I could finish it. My son it seems, knew exactly what was on my mind and hid it extremely well. I couldn't wait any longer so at 9.30pm I threw on my coat and sped off to the local bookstore. Just making it before their 10pm closing time.
I do not usually write reviews but this book is well deserving of this. It made me both laugh and cry, it was thrilling from start to finish. It shows the unique bond between dogs and their masters while also having a storyline that is packed with fantasy, wizard and spells. I have now purchased another two copies for my nephews who are already getting onto their parents to buy them a copy.
With an absolutely stunning cover. This book will be big, VERY BIG! A MUST READ.

I cannot wait for book two.

  • Join Pasha and her friends as they train to become warriors, learn to use their special powers, fight evil and put the bad guys away in jail. Don't be surprised if you find quite a bit of humor along the way. Expect to meet pixies, leprachauns, a talking koala and some very unusual creatures. While comedy predominates, there is enough of a serious lesson to be learned so as to make this story something of a teaching tool. Pasha is enchanting enough to draw in the reluctant reader and exciting enough to keep readers wanting more. I'm looking forward to the next in the series.

  • I found this book at the thrift store for $1.00. I want my money back!!! I was extremely disappointed. As an animal lover I felt this was a pathetic attempt to give a canine version of another British Harry Potter scenario. I recommend to the author not making this a sequel and stopping with this first book. Don't quit your day job!

  • I would not recommend this book to anyone. Poorly written and long-winded. The story line is hard to follow and does not read fluidly. As for the other book reviews, I'm starting to wonder if they read the same book as I.

  • This is a wonderful story about dogs, and their masters, and a possible intricate world they live in. Any preteen who loves animals, and wonders what goes on in their minds should definitely read this book. It has such an exciting story, and many lessons of life to learn. Oh, if you like wizards and the like, you will love this book!
