This book was purchased for use at home in our school. I wanted to introduce my children to sign language and this did the trick. I purchased several sign language books in the Beginning Sign Language Series. I did think they would be a little bigger then they were but I am still happy with them as my children did enjoy them. They are paperback books and fairly slim.

These books would work with children of all ages. I bought them originally for a 5 and 8 year old but have also used them with younger and older children. All Seemed to like trying sign language. They have great graphics and are easy to understand.

This particular book was learning songs in sign language. There are only six songs in the book but they are songs most children do know. If you are looking for an extensive book on songs and sign language this would not be the book for you. This is a basic beginner book that is very simple to get through.

Good addition for class.

The book was a good addition for learning sign. We knew all the songs in the book & enjoy learning them.

Every helpful

GREAT book! I'm trying to teach my baby to sign. I've bought other sign books and they weren't as good - no to mention I didn't know any of the songs. I knew every song in this book - the signs were VERY clear and easy to understand. They use signed English so EVERY word is signed. For younger kids some words could be easily left out if you desired. The book also includes musical staff if you wanted to play the tune simply on a piano.

Love the book it exceeded my expectations!

My six year old really wanted to learn sign language so I bought him this book along with others and he is really taking to it. He loves the sogns since it is putting the signs together!

I returned the book as well as another book, Signing for Kids because I do not like them so to speak. This book does not include American Sign Language and there aren't many songs in the book.

Expanded songs in Sign (same authors) includes these six songs and more for only $2 more. The sign pictures are great (the same in both books).
