All of them had to tell one story.

is a good advice for people who learn English. There is so much good and in a book that we have no idea. All of them had to tell one story. The best story would win a prize at the end of the journey.

Lamb says “maa,” doggie says “woof,” crow says “caw caw”—and baby laughs with joy. The shiny embossed and laminated pictures of animals seem to jump from the page, inviting babies to reach out and touch. As they become more familiar with the book, children will enjoy imitating the sounds each friendly creature makes.
  • This is an excellent book for babies. The simple pictures and bright colors draw them in. It was a favorite of both my grandchildren... now it is my favorite to give a baby showers.

  • My son (16 months old) has chosen this book from the library 4 times in the past few months, and he now requests it by title (the only book he does this for). Today as I was trying to sneak it away into the library bag, he looked at me with his big blue eyes and asked, "Quack Quack?". So I renewed it (again), and bought our own copy.

If your little one loves animals and the sounds they make, this is a good one to have in your collection. The pages alternate between thick cardboard and cardboard with a layer of foam between (which makes it easy to turn pages in the book). Very simple wording (ie- "See the lamb. Maa. The lamb says "maa". Nice lamb"). It says 6-12 months, but my 16 month old is still obsessed with it.

  • Two things - the craft of the book makes it easy for chubby little hands to open and turn the pages. The pages are thick and thin, alternating both making it so easy to manipulate. The pictures are great, wonderful contrasting colors and all the fun and usual sounds that animals make. You'll love reading this one with your little one.

  • Probably the baby's favorite book. Bright colors, nice shapes, and solid construction. During tummy time I leave the book propped open so he can stare at his favorite page (the last one has a terrific/engaging pattern)

  • My daughter didn't like this book as well as her others. Only because she likes the books that have more tactile items to them. Such as fuzzy dog or little cut outs to put her fingers through.
