  • It's really pretty good. Here's how I feel about children's audio books: I like to be the one reading to my kids. However, sometimes they get bored while I'm driving so I like to keep a stash of these in the car. Generally, movies made into books don't make good literary material, but my younger kids really enjoy it because they love the movie. We have a collection of these Disney Read-Along books and they are all pretty good. The woman who narrates this one also narrates several of the other Princess stories (and the background music is the same in many of them), but there are real audio clips from the film. This one doesn't have very many, obviously, because there wasn't very many in the movie.

  • Three year old son likes to listen to this when we're driving in the car. He laughs out loud at the horse's and the chameleon's antics. I appreciate that it encourages reading instead of watching a movie. No, it's not just a girl's story, but he does tend to skip over the wedding and go straight to the action.

  • I must admit that I was a little worried about this book since the short was pretty much Pascal and Max, running after the rings, however the book was well written and the cd was fantastic, with actual clips from the short. I really like how in this one, the pictures were actual screen caps rather than drawings.
    All in all I give this an A, it would have gotten an A+ if the cd were in a better protected case rather than this plastic sleeve.

  • My 5 yrs old girl loves Disney's stories, especially Rapunzel, but watching too much TV is not good for your children, especially most of the DVDs are at least 1 hr and half, so I bought Read-Along Storybooks and CDs for her instead of DVDs. All the stories are about 10-13 mins, and they use the real voice for the main characters just like in the DVD. My girl loves it very much, highly recommend.

  • It was a birthday gift for our 7 year old granddaughter and she absolutely loved it. Anything to do with horses she loves.

  • Cd and book set. Cd fits into book so you don't need any extra storage for the cd.

  • You can't laugh fast enough to keep up with this adorable short!!!!
