  • With high interest plot lines for young readers, I have found over and over again that the age group this book targets finds them extremely appealing.

  • Funny book. Very much in the style of Louis Sachar's other Marvin Redpost books. My son (age 7) loved it. He is an advanced reader but was able to read much of it himself as well.

  • Bought this for a reluctant reader in my 2nd grade classroom. He loved it! Captured his attention and is a great starter chapter book - especially for boys.

  • Great books. This series (Marvin Redpost) are great reading gor 7 to 9 year old kids. Kids can relate to Marvin, his life, his friends and family.

  • My little girl read #8 right before she summer break. She asked me to order her another one, and when she devoured that one in a day, I ended up buying the rest of them. She has read them all now and wishes there were more. They are great books for children who are just begining real chapter books :)

  • Kids in the library love these books

  • My 8 year old grandson devours Marvin Redpost adventures - usually one a night. My Charlie is a very good reader for 2nd grade and this is just right to challenge him a bit while allowing him to read it to himself successfully at bedtime.

  • Louis Sachar books are great for kids who love comedy or funny stories. I had a kid who hated to read but he loves these books.
