A JOHNNY MAXWELL story. It was nine o’clock in the evening, in Blackbury High Street. It was dark, with occasional light from the full moon behind streamers of worn-out cloud. When historical details are wrong, it’s my fault for not listening. But who knows what really happened in the other leg of the Trousers of Time? Chapter 1. After the Bombs. It was dark, with occasional light from the full moon behind streamers.

  • These 'children's books' of Pratchetts are clearly in disguise - from entertaining to thought-provoking to educating, while children of all ages will love the entertainment value, intelligent adults will enjoy the monkey-puzzle mixture of philosophy and science, theories and dreams. This 3-book series is a great gift for all ages, and is definitely keeper quality.

  • Terry has created an amazing adventure for Johnny and his friends. They go on a daring rescue in time--with some amazing results and outcomes for everyone involved!! As always, a great read! Thanks, Terry!!

  • A fantastic author. Not merely because he wrote in fantasy, but because he could take an idea and turn it into a universe. We lost this genius MUCH too soon.

  • A good end to the adventures of Johnny and his palls. Mr. Pratchett's editors at the time should have insisted on more development of the time bag lady, and how she got that way.

  • Another book to read and re read always getting more out of it. If you read Terry Pratchett then you understand.

  • Great kids book.

  • It's Terry Pratchett...enough said.
