  • It's nice to have historically important speeches and documents all in one place for additional study in addition to the History of the US series by Joy Hakim.

  • This author is fair and amazing! Written simply and with touches of humor, lol.

  • These books will have all ages learning or reviewing history with fascination as if reading a good novel. Joy Hakim informs with a humorous, plain-spoken manner that will keep you glued to the pages. My kids and I are enchanted by Hakim's flowing presentation and always read more of her information than we need for the sake of homework.

  • Good book if you are in to history.

  • I bought this entire series, thinking it would be more of a help for my youngest niece & nephew, than the dry school text books. I've enjoyed them so much myself, that my niece & mephew have to come to my house to read them, as I'm loath to give them up!!
