Twenty logic stories that will make you think! They will stimulate critical and creative thinking skills. From 7 to 110 years old.
  • I bought this in order to have something fun to do with my coworkers every once in a while, but these aren't at all creative. Don't waste your money on this and just look up 'minute mysteries' or 'stories with holes' online. You'll find plenty that other people have written for free and are much more difficult to figure out.

  • I use the stories with holes with all of my English classes, and I have taught grades 6-12. My son even did some of these in his 3rd grade class this year. It is great to hear how creative the kids get. My only problem is that I have to keep replacing the books! People love them so much that they tend to disappear!

  • We haven't read all the stories, but have had fun with the ones we have. My oldest used these in her APEX class, so I bought them for our homeschool. I believe my 8yo is still too young to understand the stories, but we will definitely use this as he gets older.

  • I use this with my fifth graders at the end of the day and they LOVE the stories with holes. They can be a bit morbid at times, but are perfect for 10-11 year olds. Many of them are very challenging, to the point that they are working on solving them all week! Great book, lots of fun!

  • Keep this when you find your lesson went quicker than expected; you have a few minutes left but not enough time to get started on something new - perfect to maintain attention for all ages; I have used this middle school through adult. Also works great when you are waiting to dismiss students and cannot start something new.

  • I started doing some of these with my team at staff meetings, and it took them a while to get the hang of them. The only problem I have now is that if I don't bring my book so they can do one, they feel cheated!

  • fun in the classroom but not all the stories are useable

  • These are great to send out in chats at work to give our employees some brain teasers.
