  • This was so great book. My son is seven and it is a great book to read together. In about six months he will be reading this book without me. (Or sooner)I like that it feels like a real chapter book but it has fewer words. It makes the kids feel successful.

This book is a cute story of Nate and his dog and the fun antics they use to solve mystories.

  • this is a great book for strong, beginner readers. the story is hilarious and clever; the pictures are simple and fun; the length of the sentences and the vocabulary helps reinforce sight words and also strengthen vocabulary skills.
I especially love the extra activities at the end - the recipes and the crafts
