Except that the ending follows a longstanding cautionary tradition, we'd be sure that Anne Rockwell made this up while high on pink lemonade. First they meet a ""big pig"" who babbles in rhymed pre-primer phrases, and then they run into a ""big blue thing"" who resembles a dragon and wants a mean captain to cook in his pot.
