What a great book! My two year old son has picked this as a bedtime book for going on 19 straight days since it was given to us, and I don't actually even mind (yet). It is great fun to look for the little boy in the book, and it so beautifully gets the imagination going. Nicely detailed pictures make it a challenge (the first few times) to find the little boy and leave lots to look at even after the mystery of 'finding' him has been solved.

Digital Art. Description. Picture a festive springtime scene from the turn of the last century, perhaps at a fair with a flower-covered gazebo and a merry-go-round. A little boy succeeds in hiding from his parents by ducking under the covers of his bed
  • I used to read this poem to my children who are now 40 & 42. So when my new grandson got here, I just had to find this book for him. He's only 3-1/2 months old, but I have already read it to him a couple of times. It gets better each time I read it. This book should go back into print. It's great!

  • My Mother read this poem to me when I was a child.
I'm giving it to my great nephew.

  • This book is "interactive" because children can't help but look for for the "little" boy who is hiding in these beautifully illustrated pictures, rich in color and detail. The text contents are a few simple, ryming sentences which makes the book equally loved by a two-year-old, or five-year-old. We have read many children's books, and I am surprised I have not heard of this one. We found it one day in the library, and we just had to have our own copy! Your children will LOVE this book! And so will you.
