This simple picture book takes the reader through a child's day, for example, hearing a robin sing at daybreak and is intended for very young children, just beginning to read. The author has also written "I Touch" and "I See".
  • Great book for toddlers. The illustrations are adorable and there are so many neat words for them to learn. I love how she divided the book into see, smell, touch and taste sections and how she repeats some of the same scenarios into more than one sense kind of like I taste a pickle and then again in another section I hear the pickle's crunch, etc.

  • My two year old granddaughter asks for this book each night, and her five year old sister loves the book as wall. This book explores the five senses and gives realistic everyday examples that kids latch onto.

  • I love this book! My autistic 4-year-old is entertained and he is putting together all of the senses. This has been a great tool!

  • Jacket was ripped a little, but I generally do not care about that. Nice book that breaks down the different senses.

  • My daughter is obsessed with this book. We had to buy it since she cried everytime we returned "the pickle book" to the library.

  • cute story

  • Cute book about the five senses

  • It's a great book to teach toddlers the five senses and the colors and pictures are captivating.
